"Half on the Head" Kerryhead Half Marathon &10K 2013 - results

This was the second year of this Half Marathon (and for the first time it also offered the 10K distance). As usual, for this time of the year, weather conditions included a fair bit of rain and a bit of wind (the usual running conditions for the past 3 years.... ). One of the toughest half marathons in Kerry but one of some very scenic beauty and good organisation, making it one for the diary on an annual basis.

3.Derek Griffin (St.Brendan's AC) 1:25:27

Top 3 finishers in Half Marathon Women:

1.Aideew Shinners 1:32:22

2.Caitriona Barry (FFMV) 1:32:58

3.Orla Crosbie 1:34:39

As expected this hilly route attracted a good numbers of runners with St.Brendan's AC represented by 11 athletes in Half Marathon and 1 opting for a 10K challenge.
