The national indoors took place at the
weekend 12th & 13th March in the national arena at
AIT, Athlone. St. Brendan’s AC athlete
Darragh Courtney was competing on Sunday in two events both the 60m hurdles
& high jump in the u16 age category.
Darragh placed 2nd in the high jump with
a clearance of 1.80m. To finish off a very long day, Darragh also
came 2nd in the 60m hurdles in what was a very close run
competition. Wonderful news for this
athlete to be bringing home two national
silver medals! Well done Darragh.
