St. Brendan’s AC had three athletes competing the weekend of 20th & 21st February 2016 in Nenagh at the Munster Indoor championships. Rebecca Falvey (U14) competing in the long jump and 60m, Darragh Courtney (U16) in the 60m hurdles and high jump and Fergal O’Brien (U16) in the 200m and 60m. All had a very good weekend in the first competition of the 2016 season. These athletes are all part of the Kerry squads, who train on a very regular basis.
Darragh brought home two bronze medals and a new personal best in the high jump of 1.75m. We can’t wait to see what the remainder of this season will bring for all our athletes.
