Munster Juveniles U13-U19 Indoor Championships 2017

Congrats to Darragh Courtney of St. Brendan's AC. Two weeks ago he was the recipient of a Munster award in recognition for his achievements in athletics. This was his second year in a row receiving this award. 

This weekend both Darragh & Jack Hannon competed in the Munster Indoors 2017 at Nenagh. Jack u14 was competing in both the long jump & 60m sprint. It was not to be for Jack this weekend & he placed 5th in a close 60m sprint final.
Darragh u17 placed 4th by a fraction of a second in the 60m hurdles final in what was a very tight but enjoyable competition. The top four boys in this event have been neck & neck over the last number of years. Next Darragh was in the high jump where he placed second with a jump of 1.85m, an impressive start to the year where Darragh equalled his indoor pb from last year. Well done & best of luck at the National finals in Athlone.
