Run Killarney Marathon 2014

It's become routine at this stage that Run Killarney Marathon will have some changes regarding routes to try to improve the overall experience for runners but also to minimise inconvenience for other people using the National Park and Ring of Kerry.
This year the Full Marathon had a new starting point and with this also new challenging (up hill) first few miles. Finish line for 10K, Half Marathon & Full Marathon was once again close to the Gleaneagle Hotel.
Another welcome change was delivery of numbers by post, so successful in Dingle Marathon for many years and giving people the option to travel to the event in the morning.
St.Brendan's AC members took part in Half Marathon 13.1M with all 3 running PBs.
Ursula Barrett - 1:41:12 (14th female overall) and improvement of over 6min,
Dariusz Odwazny - 1:44:20 - our newest club member we hope to see him in cross country season,
Catherine Burke - 2:24:51 - second half marathon this year and another impressive time.
Well done  guys!
